We have started the construction of a classroom in Sichilobe Village located a few kilometers from our missions base. Once complete, the classroom will not only double the education capacity for the children in the village but it will also serve as a meeting place for Bible studies and eventually a church plant.

We are so excited for what the Lord is doing in this place!

Team BTG ~ Church Planting Update Our team recent

Team BTG ~ Church Planting Update

Our team recently planted a church in Macha, Zambia and we are so excited with what the Lord is doing there.

In just the first two months of its existence, our average weekly attendance has grown to 80 people.

Additionally, this weekend the team held a crusade where the gospel message was preached and its power was far reaching as 54 souls were saved, 11 were baptized, and 91 people were delivered from demonic strongholds over their lives.

We are in awe of His faithfulness!!

James 1:22-25 says, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

This is Chris. Chris is one of the workers at a local lodge here in Livingstone. The Lord put it on our hearts to give him 2 Bibles. At that time, we didn’t know that Chris leads a small Bible study with friends and family but they only have one bible to share amongst them all.

I couldn’t help but to think of this scripture in the book of James when looking at this picture of him, smiling so brightly as he looked at his new Bible.

Yes, Chris was blessed by Team BTG with these new Bibles, but the Bible says, the real blessing is found in doing the works found within the Word.

Jesus was clear. His Word is clear. We are to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded us to do. And He even promises that He will be with us as we do it.

Today’s charge is to go make a disciple. Be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer. Tomorrow is not promised. Today, could be our last opportunity to do so.
